My son is 11 and non verbal. I had seen other children using a talking app, so with no idea how to use it or how to teach my son how to use it I bought it. It was so complicated I thought I would never get the hang of it let alone my son. I was speaking to his speech and language therapist who mentioned Abeer. So with not much hope of me ever getting the hang of it, I called. Abeer was so enthusiastic about the use of talking apps I felt confident she was the right person to educate me in all things talking app.      On first meeting, Abeer spent time teaching me how to use the app, which she explained so simply my old brain got the hang of it. Then it was time to unleash small human to the world of communication. Like all kids he will use it in school and at horseriding willingly, but not for me at home!! I know with more daily use he will begin to use it more at home. Abeer has changed the possibilities open to him with just a few hours of teaching me how he will begin to use it and what the expect. As his school teachers were unsure she spent some time with them also to guide them through too.
